Free Workers Compensation Case Management

Why should you be paying the advertising bills for big box lawyers? At Frommer D’Amico, you will be represented by either John Frommer or Joe D’Amico, both Certified by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court as Workers’ Compensation Specialists AND you will pay less in fees. You recover and keep more.

We are able to offer lower fees because we do not need to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to advertise. And we don’t have to pay other lawyers to work for us. We do the work ourselves, personally, on every case. If we take your case, you will enjoy the benefit of our reduced fees as well.

    Our Fee Structure

If we win benefits in Court because your claim was denied, or protect your benefits from being stopped or lowered unjustly by the insurance company,  our fee is only 10% instead of 20% of weekly benefits. The following example illustrates the value of the Frommer D’Amico lower fee.

Your Average Gross Wage before your injury was $1,200.
That means your weekly work comp would be $800.
The other lawyer’s fee if they get you benefits or protect your benefits from being stopped is 20% or $160/week.
Our fee for either getting your benefits or protecting your benefits is only 10% or $80/week.
Over the course of a year on workers’ comp you are paid $4,160 more with us as your
lawyers. For our clients, having that extra income matters, especially if the insurance company
is trying to starve you out!

In many cases, there ends up being a settlement of the claim. This is a single lump sum payment made by the insurance company to close the claim completely. These settlements can be quite large, often measured by the payment of what would be owed in weekly comp for years in advance. For settlements, our fee is the standard 20% on the first $100,000, but then only 10% for the settlement over $100,000.

    As an example

Your case is settled for $200,000.
The other lawyer’s fee is 20% of $200,000 or $40,000. Our fee is 20% on the first $100,000, or
$20,000, BUT ONLY 10% on the next $100,000, or $10,000.
You’ll get $10,000 more with us. That makes a big difference as you move on after the settlement!

Lower Workers’ Compensation Attorney Fees: Evaluating the Costs

There are many reasons you might need a workers’ compensation attorney. Perhaps you have questions about a claim or you received a letter and are concerned you may be denied benefits. Possibly you are being asked to return to work before you are healed, or you are facing late checks.

No matter why you need the services of an attorney, you need to take into consideration the quality of legal help as well as the fees for workers’ comp legal representation you will pay. Find answers to the following questions.

The cost of working with Frommer D’Amico can pay for itself when you consider we may be able to get you benefits when you were denied or we can seek fairer benefits if your employer’s insurer tries to claim you can return to work.

You need to be able to afford workers’ comp lawyers in order to get legal help, and the attorneys at Frommer D’Amico work to keep the cost of representation reasonable. While most law firms charge case management costs, we do not. If you worry about the expenses of getting legal help, talk to us about your concerns and we will help you understand the financials.
